In honor of this Veteran’s Week, I’d like to pay a special tribute to a true hero — retired Army Staff Sergeant Luke Murphy. Above is a picture of us when I bumped into him last month at Connie’s Ham. Murphy served two tours of duty with the 101st Airborne Division. After retiring in 2007 due to a catastrophic injury, he went on to graduate from Florida State University, ran marathons and help veterans in the community. Murphy is also a partner at Southern Land Realty.
